の抜き書き:

"Please, tell us, we're waiting." Before I do, we're gonna talk about observability.

Observability is somthing that's bandied about a whole lot right now, and I'm okay with that because it's very important, and that's why

we're gonna start by clearly defining observabiliy. A system is observable if and only if you can determine the behavior or the system based on its outputs.

そのため、観測可能性を明確に定義することから始めます。システムが観測可能であるのは、その出力に基づいてシステムの動作を決定できる場合に限られる。

This is an accepted definition of abservability from multiple other fields of engineering.
If we're gonna call oerselves engineers of any kind, I'd like us to adopt this definition of abservability, and already has it, and I'm just late to the game.

And I looked it up last week, but let's just say that this is observability.
And if we're gonna say that, I wanna look at some of the words in the definition of observability.

A system, right? Is observable.

What's a system?

A system is a set of connected components.

And furthermore, they're components that interact in a way to do somthing more complex than they would on their own.

Monitorama is the system.
We're all interacting to do something.
WIthout us, without Jason, ...

Monitoring is the action of observing and checking the behavior and outputs of a system and its components over time.

モニタリングとは、システムおよびそのコンポーネントの動作や出力を長期にわたって観察し、チェックすることである。
