Azure 2022年の機能廃止・情報取得（2022/5時点）
はじめに
パブリッククラウドを使っていると気になるのが「機能の廃止」です。
新機能がpreview/GAになったというアップデートと同じくらい、今使っている機能が使えなくなることに敏感になっている方は多いと思います。でもどうやって情報収集するのか、迷うところです。
そんな中、「こんな風に情報取得してます！」という話を耳にしたので、早速試しながら今年廃止予定の情報を抽出してみました。
情報取得方法
Azureのアップデート情報は下のサイトで公開されています。
細かい機能アップデートは載ってこなかったりして個別のサービスのドキュメント等を見ておく必要はありますが、概要レベルのアップデートはこのページで追うのが基本ですよね。ということで、アジュラーの皆さんはこのページをご覧になることも多いと思います。
さてこのページでは、様々な条件でUpdate情報をフィルターすることができるのですが、どうやら「retirements」というタグを選ぶと「提供終了年」が選択できるようです。
これで絞って、狙った年度のアップデート（機能の廃止）情報を抽出することができます。
※このタグ、前々からあったっけ？と思いますが、とりあえず現時点ではできます！

（普通に抽出しただけですが、なぜか古い方は日本語訳されてました。）
気になる方は元ページに行き、EdgeやChromeの自動翻訳機能を使うと良いかと思います。
こうやって抽出し、付与されているタグから自分が使用しているサービスに関するアップデート情報を確認するのが常道ですが、どうやらタグが正しく付与されていない記事もあるようで…。
「全量見ておきましょう」というのが基本的な方針になるかと思います。
廃止までの猶予期間
特に記事の中身までは確認せず、「配信日」と「廃止予定日」の差を取ってみました。（短い順ソート）
恐ろしいことに、最短は7日。100日未満のものが計9件ありました。
おそらく、リマインド的な記事だとは思うのですが、3か月以内に何とかしろ！とか言われても結構困ることもありますね。
逆に一番長いのは1000日を超えていました。（グラフ上、上を切ってしまってます。）
もっと先の話ですが、『Azure Powershellの「RM」モジュールのリタイアメント』などはかなり前からアナウンスされ、さらに何度か延長されているような気もします。
Azureとしてもインパクトの大きさで期間をかなり配慮しているようです。短いやつはインパクト少な目、またはリマインド。長いやつはインパクト大き目。そう信じたい…。
おわりに
廃止予定は、運用環境においてはかなり重要な情報かと思います。
