git pullするたびに警告がでるので調査【Pulling without specifying】

いつの間にか、git pullするたびに警告(ヒント）が表示されるようになっていた。

あーる原因調査
どうやら、複数ブランチがある状態で、プルする場合はオプションを明示的に付与しろとのことらしい。
調べてみたところ、以下のような情報が見つかった。バージョンが上がったことで警告されるようになったものと思われる。
あーる解決策
ヒントのメッセージ内でも提示されている以下の設定をすることにした。
$ git config --global pull.ff only
設定の内容
pull.ff onlyとすることで ast-forward可能な場合のみ、 fast-forwardするようになる。できない場合はエラーになり強制終了する。
つまりmergeできない場合はfetchするだけにとどまりそれ以上の実行を行わない。
しばらく運用してみることにする。
