Intel の SSD 事業売却
Intel の SSD 事業が売却されて、Solidigm という会社になっている。
それに伴い、従来 インテル® SSD Firmware Update Tool のツールで SSD の管理をしていたのが
以下のツールを使うようになっている。(どちらも intel のサイトだが)
ただし以下サイトはリンク切れになっている。(2023/8/26 現在)
未確認だが、以下のツールを使うのかもしれない。(2023/8/26 現在)
ファームウェアアップデートツールのダウンロード
以下から、Ubuntu 18.04 LTS*, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS*, ... と説明のある、SST_CLI_Linux_1.2.zip をダウンロードする。
ファームウェアアップデータのインストール
インストール
unzip SST_CLI_Linux_1.2.zip
sudo apt install -y ./sst_1.2.198-0_amd64.deb
インストール確認
sudo dpkg -l sst
SSD のファームウェアバージョンの確認
xxxxxxxxxxxxx は SSD のシリアル番号
$ sudo sst show -ssd

$ sudo sst load -ssd 0

PC を再起動する。
