Linux で timezone を JST にする

/etc/localtime がシンボリックリンクになっているので JST 以外に設定されている場合 /etc/localtime が指している先を変更することによりタイムゾーンを変更できる。

変更前の例

$ ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Feb 25 09:51 /etc/localtime -> /usr/share/zoneinfo/Etc/UTC

変更コマンド

sudo ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Japan /etc/localtime

変更後の例

$ ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Feb 26 19:15 /etc/localtime -> /usr/share/zoneinfo/Japan
$ date
Sat Feb 26 07:18:20 PM JST 2022
