Omarchy 3.1 にアップデートして日本語入力できなかったときの対処

事象

Omarchyが3.1にバージョンアップし、いろいろ新機能が増えているからワクワクしながらアップデートしたら日本語入力が効かなくなった

configの問題かと思い、fcitx5-configtoolを開くも、Errorが生じて設定ができない

fcitx5-remoteでも応答がない

対処の具体的手順

5.1.14をダウンロードする

以下のサイトにアクセスし、旧版(5.1.14)のアドレスを取得
今回はfcitx5-5.1.14-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zstが対象
※あるいはブラウザで直接ダウンロードしても良い
https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/f/fcitx5/

アドレスを指定してダウンロードする

# 以下の例では/tmpディレクトリにダウンロードしている
cd /tmp
curl -O https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/f/fcitx5/fcitx5-5.1.14-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

ダウングレード

ダウングレードを実行する

sudo pacman -U /tmp/fcitx5-5.1.14-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

バージョン確認

sudo pacman -Qi fcitx5
# versionで5.1.14-1となっていればOK
