Notes on Creating an AWS Free Tier Account

Overview

I am leaving some notes from when I created a personal AWS free tier account.

Steps

1. Enter email address -> Enter verification code
2. Register address
   • Since this required English input, it was my first time doing so, and I struggled a bit.
   • I registered my address using this reference. (Initially, I just tried inputting it in Japanese without reading anything, and it got rejected, leaving me puzzled.)
3. Enter billing information
4. SMS phone verification
5. Select support plan -> Since I plan to test within the free tier, I chose the Basic plan this time.

I was able to create the account with these steps.
As I had never entered an address in English before, I was a bit surprised, so I'm leaving this as a memo.
