Managing Zenn Articles on GitHub
I tried creating a Zenn account.
It seems that on Zenn, you can create and update content by linking it with a GitHub repository.
However, it appears to be a one-way deployment from GitHub → Zenn, with the following limitations:
- Deleting an article in the repository is not reflected on Zenn.
- Once an article is deployed to Zenn, its slug cannot be changed (it will be treated as a different article).
- Content already written directly on Zenn is not reflected back to GitHub.
Well, I suppose these things can't be helped. I'll look forward to future updates.
[Postscript]
I have posted a memo of this process on my own blog site.
While you cannot set an article license on Zenn, I have applied a CC BY-SA license to the repository side.
Therefore, feel free to reuse it (within the scope of the conditions).
