Introduction

I run an English learning site called daraEnglish.

As of November 2024, this site is running on WordPress.

However, there are various things I want to address, such as making it run more smoothly, adding extra features, and reorganizing content,

so I've decided to move on from WordPress and try running it with different technologies.

Therefore, I've decided to rebuild daraEnglish using React for the frontend and Firebase for the backend.

This video is what I used as a React tutorial.

Since it's self-contained in one video and covers almost everything I want to do, it has been extremely helpful.

Of course, when I run into things I don't understand while building my site, I Google them or ask ChatGPT, but I still feel that learning while building is the easiest way to understand, so I'm really grateful for videos like this.
